This sassy peafellow is a resident of Sandfire Roadhouse, about 300km South of Broome (AKA, the nearest settlement headed South). It was a windy day and he was trying to put on a good show of his brilliant plumage but the wind had other ideas. He never did quite make the impression he intended. Nonetheless, we found it somewhat endearing and snapped this quick shot.
